This article is going to explain the Pgrid Bias function on Solax hybrid inverters. This function is used to adjust the power bias at Grid Connect Point.
There are three options able to be selected: Disable / INV / Grid.
If INV is chosen, there will be additional power flowing from Grid to inverter than it should be(The power range related to the model rather than the power segment can change), shown as Diagram1 below.
If Grid is chosen, inverter will output extra power than it should do(The power range related to the model rather than the power segment can change), shown as Diagram2 below.
When to select INV: In some countries, it has strict requirements on Zero Injection, even if you set Export Control function to zero, there still will be a small feed-in energy due to the loads fluctuation. Then you can set to INV to minimize the feed-in energy.
When to select Grid: In some countries, it is allowed to feed in to grid. But you may find even if the battery has enough energy, sometimes the system will have a little bit consumption from grid. Because when loads increase, it takes time (1 second) for inverter to respond, the loads will take energy from the grid during this time. In this situation, you can set Pgrid Bias to Grid to minimize the consumption from the grid.
