1. Why limit system output power
For photovoltaic system, the photovoltaic energy will be converted into electrical energy and feed loads&charge battery. The excess energy will be sold to grid but not all countries allow user to sell electricity. More and more countries have introduced regulations to restrict the sale of electricity to the grid.
2. What is the Export Control?
Export Control is mainly for controlling the photovoltaic system energy size injected into Utility.
Both On-grid inverter & Hybrid inverter support Export Control.
3. How Export control Works
1. CT/Meter required.
2. For parallel mode, only need to set on the master inverter
3. Correct setting of the limit value of export control by the inverter
l Single phase inverter(Meter/CT solution):
Menu main-- settings-- Advanced settings--Export Control
Set Export control power to 0W
Single-phase inverter connected to single-phase grid
Single-phase inverter connected to three-phase grid(net metering area)
l Three phase inverter(Meter/CT solution):
Menu main-- settings-- Advanced settings--Export Control
Set Export control power to 0W
Note:
Export Control value can be set from 0W to more than the rated output power.
When Export Control set to a value greater than inverter rated power, system will let go of export control restriction.
4. How to enable export control function
Method1
Setting via inverter screen (non-screen version not supported).
Method2
Wi-Fi local settings via APP
Method3
Cloud settings via APP
Method4
Web browser settings via SolaX Cloud
