    EVC RFID Function

    What is RFID?

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a form of wireless communication that utilizes electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify objects.

    Working Principle

The essence of RFID is to convert radio waves into electrical energy, through the electrical energy to activate the card's circuitry to allow the microprocessor to work to check the balance and other operations and the results will be converted to radio waves to inform the external equipment, which at the same time act as a transmitter and receiver function of external equipment.

    Function Introduction

    • Application Scenario

    Home/Destination charging scenario

    • Function purpose

The site administrator can centrally manage all RFID card users and charging history(charging time, charging capacity and charging tariff, etc) under the site.

    • Function Description

The site administrator manages the RFID cards under the specific site, and only the cards in the site can be activated to charge the EV Charger under the site. The charging history of each card will be managed on the platform side.

    • There is no limit to the number of RFID card numbers when online, and the charging pile can store up to 10 card numbers when offline.
    • RFID card adding methods
    1. Scan card barcode: Support SolaX card with barcode.
    2. Enter the card number: Support SolaX card with card number.
    3. Bind through EV Charger (device needs to be online): Support all SolaX cards as well as third-party ISO14443-A RFID cards.

In addition to this when we choose to add the Bind through EV charger we can also choose to add a third party card, we can also add a specific card number through the mobile phone NFC function to control our charging station.

How to Use RFID Card and View Charging Records

After you have successfully bound the RFID card, you can place the RFID card on the recognition area of the charging pile. After placing it once, the charging pile will display a charging prompt. If you want to stop charging, you can place the RFID card on the recognition area of the charging pile again.

When you want to check the charging records of the charging pile, you can view them on your mobile phone and website.

When viewing on a mobile device, you can log in to the end user account, select the charging station where the charging pile is bound, and view specific charging records in the management interface of the charging pile.
